Oh oh....what the heck is this now?  Is that what you're thinking.  Ha.

Well I've been experimenting with video blogging and wanted to create a spot for items that were of a non-technical nature.  Any tech video-blog I might do will still be on mip's scan of course.  But this spot is a place for me to release any other videos that I may have put on YouTube, Google Video or blip.tv and wanted to pull together in one common spot.  If after a while this all seems to stick...I'll create an actual URL for it and map it here.  If it seems to stink rather than stick...we'll then I'll  delete the space and chalk it up to more online experience.  :-)

Making Wine - Part 1

It is a family tradition in our home, from generation to generation, to make wine. Here is a brief clip that shows us preparing to press grapes that had been somewhat crushed the night before.

Demonstrating the Tassimo Coffee Maker

Hi everyone,
I thought I'd cross post this video that I created and posted on my tech blog, mip's scan since I hadn't had a chance in a while to create some new video to post here.  I love technology and love when technology meets some of my other interests or passions.  I love coffee!  So this machine, the Tassimo is awesome because it uses technology to scan a barcode on the coffee packet of your choice and then brew you the perfect drink: coffee, tea, latte, hot chocolate and so on and so on.
Here is a a brief clip of me demonstrating this machine for you.

the hole

I wrote a poem titled the hole and published it on my writing blog theWriteCast.  I thought it'd be interesting to try and capture the mood of this poem with some background video and some music while the text of the poem flowed across the screen.  The video below is a result of that.

I was thinking about how we can see something and make an assumption about it, without ever really knowing it's true origin.  As well, all of my video up to this point has been done using YouTube but this one was done using blip.tv

Some Evening Guitar Playing

Had our friends over Pam and Steve on the weekend.  After dinner Steve and I did some guitar playing and I got a little on video camera.  This is one short clip, more to follow.
